The Royal Borough Of Kingston Half Marathon
Starting in the famous Ancient Market Place, runners cover 5 miles through the historic borough before crossing over Kingston Bridge and heading up the iconic stretch of the Barge Walk beside the Thames. The race then reaches the magnificent Hampton Court Palace before continuing through Thames Ditton and back towards Kingston for the famous Market Place finish.
The Royal Borough of Kingston Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 1st October this year.
This is a great opportunity to run a fast, flat route through picturesque and historical settings. Some things in Kingston are best seen on foot.
All runners can pick up a bespoke commemorative race medal and a high quality technical T-shirt, sponsored by Carringtons. We’ll be helping you move every step of the way.
Enter for charity or to pursue a new personal best, the Kingston Half Marathon is a perfect route with the opportunity to enjoy Kingston’s scenic views. Make sure you take advantage of the Kingston lifestyle on the riverside afterwards; a well-deserved chance to chill out with some food or drink and soak up the atmosphere.
Members of the Carringtons team have run the Kingston Half in previous years and, again, we’re proud to announce we will be participating again! This year we will also be running for our chosen charity, Momentum. Every day, Momentum support families across South West London and Surrey whose children have cancer or a life-limiting condition. Our team is looking forward to raising funds to help continue their important work and impact in our local community.
